Love love love this idea! My cats always try to eat my plants and flowers and then lovingly throw it up somewhere. This is so much nicer than the plastic hanging plants or the way-too-hippy rope hangers.
i love this! and your white sheep too.
I love this idea – is this your own? Did you make the boxes yourself or find them somewhere?
Thanks Jacquelyn!
These crates are actually for hanging orchids but I wanted to use them for ferns. Also, I discarded the wire hangers and hung the boxes with a hemp yarn.
Thanks for asking!

so pretty…i love that lacy fern inside. things are always prettier when they’re up in the air.
They look lovely! I’ve thought of doing just this same thing in my home. The hemp yarn idea is a great touch! Where did you pick up the boxes? I’ve only seen them at Gethsemane (here in Chicago), and not anywhere else.
Jovana,
That is where I got them!

Great idea!
Do you have something underneath the plant to keep them from dripping when you water them?
Thank’s for inspiration!
